Summer Student Position

Molson Judicial Review Unsuccessful

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE We are disappointed to announce that the Oliver Community League’s judicial review of the Molson Site redevelopment was rejected by the Court of Queen’s Bench. Although the court found no breaches in procedural fairness upon which to overturn the development’s approval, many Oliver residents were deeply unsatisfied with the rezoning and the re-zoning process and the League remains committed to advocating on their behalf. Molson Judicial Review

Oliver Community League Files Judicial Review Against Molson Site Redevelopment Based on concerns with the process, the Oliver Community League (OCL) applied for a judicial review of the Molson brewery site rezoning. This application was followed by several Freedom of Information and Privacy Protection Act requests. The League believes the information contained in the FOIPP response confirm there were a number of irregularities in the process. Source: OCL Blogs
