Join the Oliver Community League at the Oliverbaun Bike & Walk Parade to celebrate Community League Day!
Decorate your bike, wagon, tricycle, skateboard, walker or scooter. Dress up and walk and a blow horn or ring a bell! The parade route will be once around the block on the sidewalk.
A fun day for the whole family!
There will be food and refreshments for community league members ($5 charge for non-members).

Edmonton Seniors Centre (ESC) and the Oliver Community League (OCL) are hosting a social at the Edmonton Seniors Centre (at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre) for ESC and OCL members.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
There will be lots of activities to engage in: Karaoke, pool, foosball, snooker, cards, crib and colouring.
There will also be a record player to enjoy some tunes so bring your favourite records!

Join us at the Edmonton Centre Federal Election Forum on October 10, 2019.
In an effort to combat political apathy and increase engagement, the Oliver Community League and Global Shapers Edmonton have organized a Federal Election Forum on Thursday, October 10, at the Matrix Hotel for Edmonton Centre candidates.
All organizations involved in hosting this forum are strictly non-partisan.
All registered candidates were invited to participate. The following candidates have confirmed their attendance:
- James Cumming – Conservative Pary of Canada
- Randy Boissonnault – Liberal Party of Canada
- Katherine Swampy – Canada’s New Democratic Party (NDP)
- Paul Hookham – People’s Party of Canada
Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
Network with political parties and community organizations from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.
The forum begins at 6:30 p.m.
Candidates will take questions from the public starting 7 p.m.

This month’s Civics Committee Meeting will be held in the community room at the MEC in the Brewery District.
Pub nights are great to hang out with friends and meet neighbours!
The Oliver Community League (OCL) is hosting its next pub night on Saturday, October 19, at 7 p.m. at Teddy’s Bar & Grill.
Bring a teddy bear or plush toy in support of the Zebra Child Protection Centre.
Halloween is a great chance to get to know your neighbours!
Sign up your building to hand out candy to kids on Halloween Day.
The Oliver Community League (OCL) will create a Google Map of all participating buildings in Oliver.
Email us your address at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll make sure urban Trick-or-Treaters know where to go!
The OCL will be handing out candy, serving hot chocolate and signing up members for FREE at Kitchener Park (10230 114 St.).
Our local Edmonton Police Service officers will be there, come say hi!
