Turn it In Event

The City of Edmonton will be on hand at the Oliver Community League Hall to collect used electronic items from residents. 

They will be collecting: 
light bulbs (all types)
electrical cords
toasters, coffee makers and other kitchen appliances
clock radios, hair dryers and other small electronics
anything else with a battery or a cord!

Note: items containing CFC’s (i.e. fridges, freezers) cannot be accepted at this collection event

Collected items will be taken to an Eco Station for recycling and proper disposal. City staff will have an interactive display set up where they will provide information on and answer any questions about the City of Edmonton’s waste diversion programs (i.e what can you recycle, what goes in the garbage and what goes to an Eco Station)

Everyone who stops by can enter a draw to win a $100 gift card to a local Edmonton restaurant 

Free coffee, hot chocolate and snacks will be available

Bring your own reusable mug to receive an extra entry into the draw!
