SUMMARY:Healthy Community Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Studies show a healthier community environment helps residents be successful in staying active\, eating healthily\, and being socially connected. We can be successful by working together with our friends and neighbours! \nJoin us for a second evening to discuss specific opportunities to build a healthier community right here in Oliver! We brainstormed some ideas\, now we’ll refine and set an action plan to implement it! \nJoin us on June 14\, 2023 from 5:30 – 8:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church (9907 114 st) \nReceive a complimentary dinner and up to $25 in grocery store gift cards for registering and participating in the workshop\, surveys\, and evaluation form. \nSignup info for this workshop will be available soon!\n \nHosted by the University of Alberta’s Housing for Health project in partnership with the Oliver Community League and the Edmonton Multicultural Health Brokers (EMHB) \nFor more information on Housing for Health\, see: www.uab.ca/h4h \nDon’t worry!
