League Location and Hall Demolition Update – August 2017

We are moving! Grace Lutheran Church (GLC) will be hosting our office for the next few months. We will also have our regular committee meetings at GLC. Office hours will resume starting September 6 from 2-6 pm at GLC as well.

The league is looking for longer-term, street-access office space. We will keep you posted as this develops.

Our events and programs will be held in various locations. Keep your eye on our events calendar and social media for updates.

We are currently moving league belongings into storage so we can continue to host our programs and events. Demolition on the league hall is slated for later September. We will post updates to social media when we know exact dates. Boald Construction Inc has been hired to complete the demolition.

Stay tuned for more updates as we have them available. Thank you for your continued support.

  1. I am pleased to know that the old hall is being demolished after 60 years; it was not a safe place around children, especially with asbestos in the walls! I look forward to many changes to be done to Oliver Park in the future as it is not being kept up to date with the growing Brewery District! This park really needs to be redesigned over the next few years, providing the city approves the money needed for it!

  2. Thanks for the update. Glad to know that the OCL will have a home base during this transition. I do hope that when the OCL’s Hall is redesigned, we also have the chance to rework the grounds around the hall, and add more community gardening plots. The current 2-3 year wait list is unfortunate.
