SUMMARY:Tree Identification and Seed Share
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Damian Cirelli and Ale Equiza\nCurious about the trees in our neighbourhood and local green spaces? Join us for a Tree ID Walk and Seed Sharing Event. We’ll start at Grant Notley Park and make our way through the River Valley\, Promenade\, 119 Street\, and finish at Peace Garden Park. \nAlong the way\, you’ll learn how to identify common urban and river valley tree species\, discover what’s growing in the community garden\, and take a seed sample to try this season. \nThe walk includes going down the stairs next to the Le Marchand Building. If that’s a challenge\, you’re welcome to stay at Grant Notley Park\, enjoy the view of the Victoria Golf Course\, and rejoin the group as we continue along the Promenade. \nOr feel free to join us at Peace Garden Park at 11 am for a short stroll through the gardens. \nWalking shoes\, water\, and binoculars are recommended. \nCome explore\, learn\, and grow with us! \n \n
