Swing Dance Class

One more opportunity to build on the skills you learned at our indoor classes at EVO over the past months!
This will be an opportunity to practice and put those new dance skills to work as you dance to the music of Audrey Ochoa at Art in the Park.
Lindy Hop is the original swing dance, created by Black Americans in the 1930s at the Savoy Ballroom during the Harlem Renaissance. It is a partnered dance known for a rhythmic, improvisational, and self-expressive style.
What to Expect:
- No Partner Required: Come as you are! We rotate during class, so you’ll meet plenty of new people.
- Zero Pressure: We want you to learn something and to have fun.
- Expert Instruction: Learn from skilled, accommodating instructors who live in your neighbourhood.
