OCL Book Club: Books for March and April

To help make it easier to fit the book picks into our schedules, OCL Book Club members suggested we announce our books 2 months ahead and we thought that was a great idea!

March’s selection: Bandit Queens by Parini Shroff
This is a contemporary thriller about a woman whose reputation as a “self-made” widow who can take care of problems has put her on the radar of some troublesome characters. Find out what she’s willing to do to protect herself and the life she has built.

April’s selection: The Matchmaker’s Gift by Lynda Cohen-Loigman
This is a historical fiction novel that spans generations. It tells the story of a poor Jewish matchmaker in 1910 and her successful divorce attorney granddaughter in 1994, and the journals (and gifts) that connect the two of them. This heartwarming story will draw you in and make you believe in the power of love.

If you haven’t registered for the OCL Book Club and want to get in on the fun, email Robyn at programs@olivercommunity.com to get added to the list.
